To date, over 70.6% of eligible Albertans have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, including 26.8% who are fully immunized with two doses. "Vaccines not only keep everyone safe, but they pave a clear path for Albertans to safely get back to their favourite activities, including enjoying a warm summer day at the Calgary Stampede".

Prizes include family admissions, ride packages, and rodeo and performance packages, plus general admissions, and more.

Alberta is scheduled to begin Stage 3 of its reopening plan, which lifts nearly all public health restrictions, on July 1.

250 winners will receive two admission passes.

150 winners will receive admission only for two adults and two children.

25 winners will receive admission and two tickets to an afternoon rodeo.

10 winners will receive admission and two Nashville North Buck the Line passes. There will be three, $1 million draws, the first on July 1, then another in August and the third in September. There are also travel prizes from WestJet and Air Canada, including trips to Cancun.

More than 1.1 million Albertans, just over 29 per cent of the province's eligible population have gotten a second dose.

"Thanks to vaccine protection from COVID-19, we are all winners".

The deadline to enter is June 24 at 11:59 pm. I encourage Albertans to continue signing up for both their first and second-dose appointments.

Only one entry is needed to be eligible for all of the Open for Summer Lottery draws, however proof of vaccination will be required for winners to claim their prize.
