Astronaut Victor Glover Shares Video Of Earth View From SpaceX Capsule

Glover tweeted, " Looking at Earth through the Dragon Resilience window.

In 1983, Guion S. Bluford Jr. became the first black American man to go to space, while Mae Jemison became the first black American woman to fly into space in 1992.

Glover wrote while sharing the video. Although NASA has sent over 300 astronauts to space, only 14 of them were black.

Glover is married to Dionna Odom, and they have four children.

The 44-year-old Southern California native graduated from Cal Poly in 1999 with an engineering degree.
