Following Jared Leto's surprising return as Joker in Zack Snyder's Justice League, Collider brings word that another casting addition has been made for the long-awaited Snyder Cut with Joe Manganiello set to reprise his role as Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke. However, Collider's source confirms Manganiello is specifically taking part in the current round of reshoots and Snyder won't simply be reusing existing footage of the character from the theatrical cut. In the full scene, the assassin is summoned to the luxury yacht of a returning Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg. Perhaps that'll happen still, just a little earlier this time around. Manganiello and Leto will reportedly be joining Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard for the four-episode HBO Max miniseries' reshoots that are now underway.

The premise of the project revolves around Joss Whedon's takeover of Justice League after Snyder suffered a family tragedy during the film's production. Snyder (and his legion of fans) argued that he could do it right, given the resources.

The duo start to form an alliance of antiheroes to block the heroics of Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Superman and The Flash.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will reportedly cost around $70 million in order to properly finish the editing and visual effects of the director's original vision, as well as the additional photography.
