Offset Cuffed By Police Amid Fracas With Trump Supporters

The suit alleges that Cardi B defamed a group of Long Island beachgoers by calling them "racist MAGA supporters" and posting an edited video featuring commentary of an altercation between the beachgoers and her sister, as well as her sister's girlfriend, reportsPage Six. Offset was only detained, but has been released.

"I really feel like we're going to get jumped", she said in her IG Story.

Offset then claims that they "watched somebody beat my auto up with a flag". The rapper was on Instagram live at the time of the incident with 30,000 people watching. He was subsequently arrested and faced multiple charges including improper lane change, marijuana possession, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

The incident, which is still being investigated, was scary nevertheless and thousands of fans watched live as police questioned the rapper and demanded that he leave his vehicle.

In the video Offset - who is wearing a red baseball cap - talks to police officers from behind the steering wheel. HollywoodLife has reached out to Offset's rep for comment. One was spotted attacking his vehicle.

In the video, Offset can be heard saying he is not going to move his hands from the steering wheel while officers approach and tell him to turn his vehicle off.

Offset found himself in police custody on Saturday in Los Angeles while filming the whole thing on Instagram Live. "That has nothing to do with why we're here".

One officer then tells the rapper that they were told he was waving guns at someone and he becomes defiant.

Retorting to the claim, Offset says that they watched while someone beat his vehicle up with a flag. "What are you talking about?" He then adds, "You told me put my hands up". I'm not doing that...

Offset with his wife Cardi B. Following more verbal exchanges, the officers open the auto door and remove him from the vehicle.

"You can't just open my door", he said. Offset says. "It's illegal". I'm going to sue the s*** out of y'all. "That's all I'm asking you to do", a police officer can be heard saying. That is when he is pulled from his auto and detained.
