The company thanked its customers for their support and for giving Quibi "an opportunity to entertain [them]".

The Trolls song recommended by Katzenberg includes inspiring lyrics like "if something goes a little wrong, well you can go ahead and bring it on" - although with Quibi's disastrous year, "a little wrong" may be a bit of an understatement.

Quibi, the much-hyped mobile streaming service that touted videos in short bits, lived a short life. "We put the red carpet out and said to the top Hollywood creative community we are setting to tell a new type of story in a new way on a new platform", Katzenberg said about the service at the CES Show in Las Vegas in January.

Earlier this week, Quibi shocked many as founder, Jeffery Katzenberg announced he would shutting down the service merely after six months post-launch. If you have any questions or need assistance in any way, please contact us at help@quibi.com.

The statement concluded, "At this time we do not know if the Quibi content will be available anywhere after our last day of service".

However, it has failed to compete with the market's leaders Netflix and Amazon Prime.

This forced everyone to look for new ways to kill time and no one preferred Quibi, obviously. "Quibi's" fast sting programming", that could have appeared stellar at a pitch assembly, only did not fly into a marketplace which was bloated and flourishing.

"We could never have imagined the circumstances under which we started during a pandemic, but other companies have faced these unprecedented challenges and found their way through them".

Quibi received $1.75 billion from investors and the likes of Steven Spielberg, Reese Witherspoon and Chrissy Teigen signed up to produce material for the app.

Quibi's launching was complex by the coronavirus. however, it was made harder by coming at a frenzied moment for its total loading market.

Some of the most popular shows included the Sophie Turner-starring "Survive" and "Most Dangerous Game" with Liam Hemsworth and Christopher Waltz.
