Gareth Bale has reportedly emerged as the Real Madrid star who is "most likely" to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

PSG are hoping for an action-packed summer in the transfer market having also been linked with Bale's Madrid team-mate James Rodriguez and Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but failing to make a breakthrough for either.

However, speculation surrounding Ronaldo's future has dominated the headlines, after the Portuguese claimed he was unhappy at Real Madrid and frustrated with their lack of support during his tax fraud troubles.

Paris Saint-Germain are set to lose the race for Kylian Mbappé's signature to Real Madrid and will turn their attention to Gareth Bale.

Zidane, a manager not known for excessive sentimentality, seemed to reassert his faith in Bale at the end of the season, handing him a cameo in Real Madrid's 4-1 demolition of Juventus in the Champions League Final in the Welshman's home town.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2013, Bale has been an integral part of the squad and has scored a staggering 61 goals and laid on 57 assists in 157 matches.

"My family is happy and I am happy so, yeah, we will continue what we are doing".

"Then I'll obviously do some work in the off-season to get it stronger and ready for next season so I'll be firing on all cylinders".
