According to CNN, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has information suggesting associates of Donald Trump possibly coordinated with suspected Russian operatives during the 2016 election to release damaging information about Hillary Clinton's campaign.

The FBI's investigation will look into how connections between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation may have influenced results of the 2016 election. "Big advantage in electoral college and lost!"

He was speaking after Mr Comey told USA politicians during questioning on Capitol Hill that the FBI had launched an investigation because it had gathered "a credible allegation of wrongdoing or reasonable basis to believe an American may be acting as an agent of a foreign power".

Clinton's former press secretary, Brian Fallon, bitterly noted that "Comey at least waited until after the election to confirm there was an investigation related to Trump's campaign".

"This is one of those circumstances", Comey told the House intelligence committee.

Apparently this is all "raising suspicions" among counterintelligence officers about ties between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign. The investigation is still ongoing and there is no conclusive information as of this time.

The four former Trump associates have reportedly been in contact with Russians known to US intelligence. This is the possibility of collusion between Trump's campaign and Russian agencies working to subvert the U.S. election. But the FBI investigation may change that. "One thing you and I agree on", he said to Comey, "is the felonious dissemination of classified material".

Also Wednesday, Representative Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, that there is "more than circumstantial evidence now" suggesting possible collusion between Trump's campaign and Russian operatives.

"Russia probe that Comey confirmed was, as best we can tell, in effect before Nov 8".

Campaign associates reportedly worked with Russian links to release information damaging to former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to United States officials cited by CNN.

Greenwald also noted that former DNI Chief James Clapper and former acting Central Intelligence Agency chief Michael Morell cast doubt on the likelihood of a criminal conspiracy between Trump and Russian Federation.
